Gutter Screen Install
We have been servicing homes for over 20 years and every year we clean many gutters with various types of gutter guards.

Don’t fall for foolish promises made by companies that sell products that do not work!

THERE IS NO MAGIC!
There is no such thing as maintenance free rain gutters!

Leaves, pine needles, dirt and other debris can still get into your gutters and need to be cleaned out. While some covers do a good job of keeping large leaves out; small leaves, blossoms, buds, debris still get into the gutter. Your gutters with gutter covers may need cleaning less often, but they are more time consuming and difficult and therefore more expensive to clean in the long run. Where are the savings?

If you still decide to install some type of gutter protectors, choose the one, which can be easily removed and reinstalled to make cleaning less of an issue when gutter cleaning is needed. You can consult with us the choice of gutter cover or gutter screen that will be best for your home and we can install it for you. The choice of gutter guards depends on the slope of the roof, presence of nearby trees, type of debris that may fall on the rooftop. Cleaning of such gutters could be done at a safe time of the year and without having to put one’s life in line of danger.

So, if you decide to install gutter cover system, how much will it cost?

An average house requires 150 ft of rain gutter. We have a total range of material cost for gutter screens or gutter guards that ranges from $90 to $1100. However, most of the products cost between $1 to $2 per foot, so the material cost for an average house with 150 ft would be $150 to $300. This price does not include installation.

Diamond PVC Screen
This is a section of a gutter protected by a gutter screen bought at Home Depot - Diamond PVC snap-in cover.
This is the least expensive screen on the market.

Gutter Grit
Inside the gutter, there is only a fine layer of shingle grit.

Do you need to spend $3000-$4000 to have gutters look like this?
Do not fall for the professional leaf protection installer’s sale pitch.

These are the types of gutter guards and gutter screens recommended and installed by our company for our clients.
PVC Diamond Screen Best

Galvanized metal/PVC screens – this rust resistant screen, often commonly referred to as gutter guard or leaf guards, snap on to the existing gutter’s outer lip and arch over, resting atop the edge of the asphalt roof. These screens cannot keep everything out, and small things may still get through, however most of the debris will be blocked. We will never install a product that attaches to the roof. All the products we use slide under the shingles. You should never install screening or guards when you have slate, wood or tile roof, and you should never install any screening that require to be nailed or screwed into either roof or gutter!

Wire Strainer

Downspout wire strainers are mushroom shaped and go
on the top of the downspout. The globe screen prevents debris
from going into the downspout.

TDP Strainer Big TDP strainers are 12 inch long. They are over twice as big as the

Additional to gutter cleaning and gutter screening, we perform
